I take back my last comment - the Live & Let Live at Bringsty Common is listed on the site. I shall review it now!

Light and airy pub that was one of the most popular pubs we visited on our 12 pub crawl of Herefordshire (incidentally the last pub we visited - the Live & Let Live at Bringsty Common was equally popular but not listed on the site). Beers were all from Wye Valley - Bitter, HPA & Butty Bach. Robinsons Flagon Cider was also on. Seating is a little limited. But we managed to secure a couple of armchairs in the rear bar. Toilets were somewhat smelly. Not a bad pub. But a few flaws spoiled it.

Visited Bromyard at weekend and this was by far the best pub in the area.

Yes its refurbished but its still the jewel in Bromyards crown. Wye Valley beers make this a place of pilgramage. The customers can seem a little eccentric but they add to the charm. This is after all Herefordshire.See you in there.

Alas - refurbished! All one bar with exposed wood and stone. Ill-advised. It was a glorious treat before the makeover. Simple and traditional. That's progress for you...
At least I saw it in its pristine glory. And the beer is still OK.
Cheers

I loved this pub before it was a Wye Valley house, and I love it more now. I always make for it whenever I'm in Bromyard, and like the way it remains a beacon of calm in a troubled world. It's a proper pub, no noise or tawdry trappings. The decor is pleasantly plain and neat, a treat after the numerous ill-advised makeovers other pubs undergo in vain attempts to keep up with the times. This place is a delight - like someone's front room. The beer is always in tip-top condition - try the Dorothy Goodbody's Stout if available. The staff are friendly and the service is professional. A great place to wait while your exhaust is being replaced at Bromyard Autos next door.

And on a visit a year later.... still the same, good beers, well kept. Friendly.

Excellent friendly local, owned by the Wye Valley Brewery just down the road - four of their brews were on tap the night I visited, all were good and well kept.
