As said before,The Mook is now closed. It's going to be another Foxtons(like we need another in Nottinghill)and although it wasnt everyones cup of tea,it was a good place to have a later drink with drunken pals(you had to be drunk to pay their prices)R.I.P.

I think it's now closed...Oh Dear. What a pity. Nevermind.

I live in Notting hill and thought only tourists go to this bar - been a couple of times and really if you want to come out of the tube and walk into the first place you see then this is the place for you. Otherwise I'd suggest stretching your legs a bit further and find far better places than this in the neighbourhood

Been there once, and it worked for me. I was drunk enough, and two girls there reciprocal enough, to chat away. That said, oooh, be careful. Clientele very keen to spend thousands on a t-shirt, and millions on a round of drinks, which is ironically what you'll need, as I hazily recall. You gets what you pay for and yes, you will have to pay if you want in after 11pm. Best to get there well before chucking out time too, unless you want to queue up with our lovely European brethren doing likewise. Open til 2, I think. I can't remember much of that evening, except going back to the kebab shop for seconds.

awful gaff this,...as if the heads of the clientele weren't big enough already,...everyone in here seems to be sporting horizontal haircuts,...pricks,..terrible service too

Distinctly average despite excellent location and frontage. The bar prices however are not. TEN pounds for a dry white wine and a pint! I am used to being ripped off in bars (used to work round Canary Wharf) but PLEASE... do us a favour. Lose the attitude and sort out the bar tarrif.

not a great place. completely pretentious in that typical trendy way...got the assymetrical haircut and your in, oh and wear a blazer....you know, just not trendy at all. The whole place is an unoriginal cliche with mediocre music and too many of the same people.

Went to Mook on New years eve (31/12/02)and had a great time! Unlike a lot of bars in the area there was no cover charge. Just good music, and a chilled out crowd. Will definately return, want to try the food next time.
