Nice pub, traditional decor well kept, okay selection of ales, really friendly staff.

Not impressed.
I visited whilst checking out the Swan and Talbot as we have moved into the area.
The barmaid eventually interrupted her conversation and deigned to serve us. No hello, please or thank you...not even a smile.
That really ticks me off as I make the effort to be polite to people - it doesn't cost and is simple politeness.
We drank up and left for the Talbot for a meal instead. The Foxes loss - now and forever..

Very friendly roadside pub with an Oakham and a Wye Valley beer available and in good condition. Food was good and plentiful. Reasonable quality too.

This is a Good Beer Guide pub, and we called in to see what beers they had on offer, and enjoyed an Exmoor Gold. Looks a nice clean country pub.

Food not great - obviously frozen or from packets. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day in here!

This is an excellent pub, with great service, great food and a good selection of beverages. Their homemade cider is amazing and worth trying. My favourite pub when i did my O.E from New Zealand.

Average large roadside pub, albeit with decent beer.
