The comments previosuly must have been written by stakeholders of this pub. It is a dive with dodgy punters.

Good Pub

Went along to watch the football Saturday evening. Only other punters there were lads on their way back from playing footie. Was happy to see Ringwood Best on the pumps but it was swan necked so all froth and no taste! Staff friendly enough but the placelacked a welcoming atmosphere, shame as it could be a decent boozer with a large catchment area as nothing else really local.

Weekday lunchtimes this pub can be full of thirsty workers from the nearby offices in Jays Close. Weekends it is frequented by locals and can be pretty quiet. The food is not bad and at least all home cooked, prices for food again are reasonable with regular 'specials' on a chalk board. It is a quite spacious pub with two rooms though only the lounge bar seems to ever have service with the public bar being reserved for a pool table. Smokers are well catered for with a wooden heated shelter to the rear overlooking the car park. Yes the place is somewhat tatty in places but for an out of the way pub the prices are not too eye watering with a pint of bitter being 2.50 a pint. All in all not a bad place to visit, though it can be rowdy at times with drunken office workers. Probably not best for those of a nervous temperament

this is the worst pub i have ever been to. There is holes in the ceiling, they dont serve food at weekends, will not turn the jukebox on, leaks in the toilets, manager is rude and unpleasent, light fittings hanging from the ceiling. beer overpriced.

A bit out of the way, but a good honest boozer with no pretentions. The clientelle is very mixed. On a weekday it's frequented by a mixture of students & teachers from the local college plus workers from the nearby industrial estate. Give it a try.

A rather nice place with some real beers and good bar staff. Full of windbags on a Friday afternoon mind you. Met a few plumbers there too.

It isn't too bad. It is in a bit of an unusual location though. The beers when I visited on Wednesday were London Pride, Old Perculiar and Courage Best in addition to the main lagers. It is quite pleasant, with some nice setees
