Really nice pub. Called in on a Thursday night in June and it was vey quiet but deserves to be busier. Definitely recommended - a good selection of ales on draught.

Strange little place.... when you go in ask for Phil or "old git" as we call him (think he does cleaning/drinking there), then give him some grief about a dodgy LBW decision or something. That'll wind the old bugger up!

Fine friendly local. Lovely beer as well

Great pub and best beer of the night on a recent visit to Leek (Jennings Snecklifter). Why oh why have that loud tinny speaker in the front bar area? Surely we could 'listen' to the music in the rest of the pub without being 'subjected' to it as we were. Agree however about the pub and regulars being great though

Have you been here!!! oh.my.god! Talk about time warp!! Traditional pub!! its still in the victorian time zone! Its is the wierdest most bizare pub ive ever been in ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS IN lEEK. Everyone knows everyones business and everyone seems to spend there life in there (and ther wage packet) Its so small one side has 1 table the other has about 3.It has a wierd smell too.On a good note the atmosphere is quite friendly but if you dont live in the area they know! (my mum lives near i dont and they go in there! i personally dont like it its a far cry from the manchester pubs)

NO OFFENCE INTENDED THE REGULARS AND STAFF ARE LOVELY.
