updating my 2005 review. Still a lovely pub inside and out,now has good selection of guest real ales, but beware its an expensive place in food and drinks, guest ales on average are 2.75 a pint, Sat at the table in the garden next to me was Rio Ferdinand drinking his Budweiser, and the staff couldn't do enough for him, wish they would treat me in the same way. jealousey I guess.

nice enough pub to stop out for something to eat if you're out that way. Thats about it really.
|
limited seating for non-diners, decent ales though.

Nice log fire, good food. Always smells of chips in the beer garden tho. Might be the fault of all them Mytravel hosties...
