Comment: Good range of beers but a bit busy with restaurant trade to give full attention to serving drinkers. No insult intended but not really a pub more a restaurant with great beer. I can live with that.

At the Southern end of Sevenoaks sits this large dining pub with a (thankfully) precise attitude to beer. The Porter was spot on, the Harveys nearly-perfect and the food on other people's plates looked spot-on. Yes it's 10-12 for mains but, if it's good and plates get emptied, it might be worth it - shame we weren't hungry at the time. Worth the diversion from local Knole Park walks and footpaths.

It's quite a rarity these days to visit a pub which has been totally done over, and to be able to say unreservedly that it's better in every respect than it was before. Not, to be fair, that it would have been hard to improve on the ghastly monstrosity it had been turned into in its 'Blubecker's' days; but the current incumbents deserve real congratulation for restoring the authentic 'pub' feel that the White Hart always had, while at the same time enlarging it and developing its potential particularly on the food side - without which it would not stand a cat's chance in hell of survival, located where it is. The result is a roomy and very attractive place, either to eat or drink - and you can certainly just do the latter without feeling in any way out of place.
I didn't try the food; the menu looked interesting, though the prices rather as one would expect in Sevenoaks (ie high). The beer choice was good, and what I had was in first class nick.
I shall certainly be in again before too long; well done, and good luck to all concerned.

My family and I went to this pub over Easter and will not be returning after poor service and now I can see why - here are the awful comments I saw on their assistant managers facebook page!

Earlydrinker, you are correct. The White Hart has been changed, again, and is now a proper country pub, with some very nice ales changing on a regular basis, one of the nicer is the Brunning & Price Original Bitter, brewed by the little pub company that owns the freehouse. I have to say it is a must try, and at 2.80, it ticks all the boxes. It does do some very nice food and i would recommend anyone eating there. I can imagine that a lot of the food is sourced locally as the menu seems to change on a regualr basis, if not daily, and the head chef deserves a big pat on the back. Head out through the back and you'll find it home to a vast area for eating during the summer, and there is enough shelter to keep to warm and dry day during the winter. All the staff are extremely warm and friendly and I was very impressed with the manager Chris who is obvioulsy rubbing off his good charm and polite, well natured manner on his staff.

I'm told it's had another makeover and is now much more of a pub again, though still food-centred. Will certainly give it another go in the near future and report back.

I went to this location a couple of Sundays back with my family including our grandchildren.
I was amazed at the friendly staff excellent service comfortable chairs in the bar & the quality of the food served.A waitress took our order at our table in the garden none of the usual "bun fight" that takes place in most pubs at the bar .
The grandchildren loved the play area. For a Sunday out 9 out of 10.
looking forward to another visit

I do like the pub and the staff both times have been friendly and attentive. The setup is aimed at more of a restaurant but I think they need to sort the food out as both time I've eaten here it has been overpriced for the menu on offer and below average quality for the simplest meals. The beer garden is loverly and gets the late sun, so I'll probably visit again but will not be eating.

This is not a pub anymore - it is a retaurant called Blubeckers at the White Hart. We have had two meals there and we will not be going back - although we know people who say they have had a good meal there.

Ours were both well below standard as regards both the food and the service

My first reaction was one of shocked amazement at the transformation of what used to be a nice old fashioned traditional pub into yet another of these overdesigned highly polished bar/restaurants. I don't like them, and there's too much of it going on all over this part of the country (and probably everywhere else).
All that said, the Adnams' was in excellent condition, the food was OK, and not vastly overpriced, and as for the manager, about whom such differing views have been expressed, I just couldn't fault him; he went out of his way to be helpful, was friendly, courteous and attentive without being obsequious. It's just a pity he's running this place and not a decent pub.

A lovely transformed restaurant, went on Sunday night and had a fantastic experience with my children (yes it is child friendly), as we entered we were warmly greeted by the young manager who took us to our table and informed us about the menu and that if we needed anything just ask.....

The waiting staff were very efficient and also very polite. The speed the girls was working at was very upbeat. The food was to die for, even though there were no sunday lunches (it was 7.30 after all) the menu was vast and i can recommend the fillet steak with dijon sauce, my husband loved the ribs, and the kids were very happy with the selection of pizzas. Very good value.

When we left the team said goodbye an made sure that until the last moment we were in the restaurant we were cared for.

Well done to the staff and management on a excellent addition to sevenoaks, maybe some of the other restaurants can take a leaf out of the white harts books.....

Very disappointed with the current manager! The White Hart used to be a lovely, friendly local pub serving excellent food. Now there is a fast turnaround of tables, very poor service and an arrogant, disorganised manager. BIG disappointment!!

It's about time Sevenoaks got itself a decent pub with a good beer garden (since the Farmers was demolished). Excellent food - try the burger and/or ribs - in relaxing setting. And there's nothing better than sitting the garden on a summer afternoon drinking proper beer like Adnams on tap.

I have been coming here for years when visiting people in the area.

It is a nice pub, serving good food and the beer garden is once of the best.

It can be a bit quiet. It is over a mile from Sevenoaks town centre, so it is generally only locals in during the evenings, but quite a few people drive down for Sunday lunch.

It is in the middle of quite an 'exclusive' area, so I would expect zero chance of any trouble in here.

It is a shame that it is about to shut and become a 'Blubeckers' restaurant.

Visited there as recommended by someone else on this site. Not disappointed. Lovely food served promptly. Good drinks - not overpriced and a really nice garden. Well worth a visit!

Mike and Viv run a very friendly pub with great food, accomodation and a superb garden for the summer. I used to work here and loved my time spent there. Great locals too. Brill pub!!
