I went to Seymour's and paid £6 for a double vodka on it's own and a wkd. Then I went to the bar and ordered the same drink again 15 minutes later and it was just under £9. I think this is absolutely unacceptable. Not happy at all

Good food, cheap drink, good place to watch sport, nice friendly atmosphere with the opportunity to beat your friends at fifa . Just generally a good place all round if your a student and will be visiting many more times!

Watched a bit of last night's game in here as being a scream pub I thought it was a safe bet for having sky.
Run-of-the-mill Scream affair this: Sofas, tables and chairs all brightly (tackily) furnished and full of youngsters (presumably students). Still in my work attire I felt a bit out of place. Lots of lagers on draught - Budweiser, Heineken, Hoegaarden, Stella, Becks etc - but no ale obviously.
Even though I fit the age demographic for this sort of place I don't like these pubs and probably won't return unless needing to find somewhere with sky sports.

Visited Sat 11th at 8pm, not too busy easily found somewhere to sit. both bars were open so not to long to wait to get served if you can see over the top of the downstairs bar that is (heels are advised), great choice of beers and ciders on offer only why of why is there NEVER any paper in the ladies toilets, never fear it is available on request from the bar, but never in the stalls.

New management, New menu, this place is getting better!

Recently refurbished, this is a comfortable, clean boozer with good pub grub, at very reasonable prices.
Live sport shown, good drinks range, good staff. One of the better pubs in the area, and doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't.

pubs ok, but when i asked for Lime in my drink barmaid told me she didn't have any even tho there were loads behind her, when i said this to her, she said they were just for display & they weren't allowed to use them

excellent food, great value for money

Really studenty. Which is fine if you are one. You'll have a cracking time. If you're not, don't go there. You won't.

God help me- I was dragged along to this dive during a friends birthday pub crawl. Full of loud students but not enough seating. One to be missed.

The food is good, the burgers are a great way to soak up the beer. Tuesdays is 1 a drink night and its a good selection of drinks. Great video jukebox and pool tables.

Good place to go for cheap drinks and reasonable lunchtime food. Didn't think much of their Sunday lunch though. There are two bars and the bar staff are pretty friendly even when it's packed.

The ultimate student haunt in Southampton. Cheap booze (with your Yellow Card), pool tables, quiz machines, friendly staff and a great atmosphere for the footy. The best pub for a session, a swift one or a night out.
