Friendly little pub in a once glorious now run down area. Not for the smartly dressed. Got the impression that it is really struggling financially. Shepherd Neame house. Beer good. Did not linger.

Popped-in here for a quick pint on a Saturday afternoon. The pub was completely deserted other than the chav barman who had the TV blaring away on a Video Music channel, it didn't get turned-down. Master-Brew was available on handpump and it seemed okay. The pub is in a fairly unique location up against the base of the cliff. I saw some people look in, seemed put-off and then walked-on, perhaps by the music. More Chavvy staff arrived just before we left. I wonder if it gets busier later?

Nice small local back street pub near the car ferry terminal (obviously the first and last pub in England) The only ale on was Shepherd Neame Master Brew which was in good condition. Good Pub

Get down there on a Saturday night & listen to live music. There's a Des Lynham lookalike who fancies he was Neil Diamond in an earlier life. A good craic.

Very nice food and the beer tasted as good as anywhere in Dover - all though that isnt saying a great deal. Well worth a visit for any day trippers to Calais.
