Was in the Castle again last week had a nice couple of pints and stayed over in one of the new rooms upstairs for �25 for the night great value cheers see you again soon...

had a really enjoyable evening, very talented young singers called James on guitar and Becky on piano, New landlord trying hard to make a go of things, warm and welcoming atmosphere, This is the only pub re opening I have heard of in recent times, The 'Old Castle gets my support ... good work a historic traditional pub we need to keep

Popped in there yesterday, met the new owner Paul very friendly guy and the bar manager too.
Good atmosphere already in there - good to see folks opening up closed pubs again and making an effort

Passed there today, the pub opens again next weekend with Karaoke and a fancy dress party.
The pub has been done up on the outside.

Excellent entertainment pub. The Karaoke is one of the best I have ever seen. Had many fantastic nights there. Check it out!!
