Pretty Pigs, Alvecoteback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Went in Friday 18th March with my partner, daughter and the in-laws and as per every single visit the food was superb with a good selection of veg. Had a pint of Pedigree which was quite nice and despite it being quite busy, we got served fairly quickly and the prices are very reasonable at 3.99 for the meal and only 2 for the Pedigree, bargain.
Will definitely be going again in the near future

Broke my journey here yesterday, and had a super, value for money meal, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
You also make a decent cup of tea.
Thank you.

The person who put everything in capital letters above needs to learn to spell & sounds like the kind of person The Pretty Pigs could well do without. I'm sure his custom won't be missed. I've eaten here many times & the staff have always been great, but then again I've always had a good attitude towards towards THEM. The food is gorgeous, well cooked, amazing prices & the beer is well kept.

A group of us went into the pub and we had a superb Sat evening. The carvery was tremendous value for money, well cooked and a good choice of meats, the vegetables also left nothing to be desired again well cooked and a large choice. The beer was well kept and again nothing to complain about. Really pleasant pub with good staff and atmosphere.

I will be returning to the Prettty Pigs again in the future, that is for certain. Me, my wife and two children have been for lunch here on many occasions. The carvery costs only 3.50p and is of the highest quality I have come across so far, and the puddings melt in the mouth. My two little girls love the chocolate fudge sensation puddings, and my wife and I enjoy the treacle sponge with custard. There is a huge carpark opposite the pub and a gigantic lush green garden out the back surrounded by a lake filled with white swans. This picturesque scene is a wonderfull place to enjoy a few drinks in the summer, and the kids love it too. I can not recommend the Pretty Pigs in Tamworth highly enough. 10/10

THE PUB IS FULL OF UNDER AGE DRUNKEN KIDS, EASY WAITRESS'S THAT CAUSE TRUBEL RUDE TO YOU AND UNPLOIT, ITS MORE LIKE A PLAY GROUND THEN A FAMILY PUB, I WOULD NEVER TAKE MY KIDS BACK IN. YOUR TOLD TO LEAVE AT NIGHT SO STAFF CAN HAVE LOCKINS WHEN YOUR TRYIN TO FINISH YOUR DRINK.FOOD I WOULD NOT FEED MY DOG,BUT IF YOUR UP FOR A TRUBELD FILLED NIGHT ATTEND HERE UNDER AGE DRINKERS WELCOME THE BOSS ACCEPTS THIS EVEN AFTER COMPLAINING, ADVISED WOLFERSTAN ARMS UP ROAD IS A VERY NICE PUB WITH GOOD FOOD.

The carvery here is fantastic. Cheap & excellent quality. Beer is good & its a really nice pub especially in the summer when you can sit outside. The views out the back are really good as it overlooks a large lake & a field with horses in it. A nice country pub on the outskirts of Tamworh. TOP pub

Housed in a former manor house this is an exceptionally popular pub, hence the huge car park opposite. Well kept beers and some good food, the Sunday roasts are renowned and you can wait hours for a table. Beer garden outside but not the prettiest of locations being across the road from the West Coast rail line. Additionally no dogs allowed - even in the garden. For a friendlier experience in a pub with great views go into shuttington to the Wolferstan Arms (see seperate suggestion)
