Queens Head, Ludgershallback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
I have been to this pub several times. The Queens is a traditional village pub with plenty of character. The oak beams and open fires make a welcome retreat in the cold winter months whilst the beer garden is perfect for the Summer. The staff are friendly and the service is efficient. Bar food for those that want to stay in the bar area, or if you prefer amore substantial meal then the Black Rock Grill is a different and enjoyable way to dine - fresh steaks are good quality and value for money. The owners Kevin and Jane are open and friendly and always welcoming to new and existing customers.

Traditional pub, reasonably priced food and real ale though only normally one or two. Good size place with plenty of seating outside and inn, it boasts a skittle alley/function room to the rear and an impressive thirteenth century fireplace. Recently redecorated by new owners it remains a popular venue for all ages though sadly lacking in any traditional activities such as Darts or Snooker/Pool.

A traditional, oak beamed, real fire, country watering hole. Great food in pleasant eating area. Well laid out garden with ample seating and even more ample off-road parking. A fairly small pub, but with a good range of well kept and competitively priced real ales. Quiet backgroud music lends itself to a friendly atmosphere, full of chatter rather than loud music or TV. Monthly curry and quiz night on the first thursday of each month. Probably rather more suited to us seasoned journeyman drinkers, but still attracts a good number of the younger age group. Friendly and efficient staff. Good beer, good price, good food, good parking, good atmosphere. What more could a man ask for?
