Place is being gutted and is opening mid October - looks like its going to be good

Went past and the place is being refurbished, evidently going back to its original name of The Oddfellows and getting the live music going again. Spoke to the owners and its going to open up in early October

What a Great place to be especially on a Thursday due to offers on some drinks. I found the staff friendly, the whole place had a welcoming feel.

i went here once and left 10mins later! it was just us two girls, we walked in expecting other mates to be in there so we ordered our drinks, sat down and started getting perverted comments from men 30yrs our senior who then sat down with us and would not get lost! -the entire place was full of men who seemed like they had never seen a girl before! well avoided if u ask me. very rough. x x x x x x

Used to be The Gate a cider pub, then became Malloys with a good music scene but less cider and now it is just getting by.
