But there are bands on every week and owner Tracey is putting on a better choice than ever.
On Friday, 20th February 2015, at 9 p.m., Pond Life 'Classic punk Riding on a New Wave' will be surfacing for a rousing, all-action evening featuring all the punk favourites, which you can join in (dancing and singing), led by singer Psycho, the mercurial Wildsticks on the skins, Johnnie machine twanging the strings and Wacka running things from the back.
Yes, you've heard the music before, but not like this.

Outside= glaswegian image and seriously grim...put this to one side as the wonderfully smiley barmaid greets you on the inside! Superb 'real' pub, bric a brac from the owner's choice and not some chain stooge livens up the boozer- and a free jukebox on weds and tues akin to slaters liverpool in the old days...marvellous- friendly locals and plenty of lager and a couple of ciders- HOWEVER- no real ale on tap at all BUT provided for in bottles in the fridge- a good selection at just �2.95 so very competitive and a great option! Overall, could have sat in there all days and drank bottled ales- individual and quirky and probably a lot more like england could be if left to its own devices....

Surprisingly nice inside, don't be put off by the industrial surroundings and lack of architectural savvy that is Fareham.
Nice range of beers, served in a pub. A proper pub. No bollocks rebrandings or other shite, they've stuck to the tried and true. You owe it to yourself to leave the town centre as fast as possible and have a nice pint in here instead.
You can get the bus from the town to the pub, but it means going into the landfill and cesspit complex known as Fareham Bus Station. Walk it instead.

A local - lots of black paint - don't remember being particularly inspired by the beer.

A very nice little pub. Has karaoke on a tuesday. Bit too quite for me especially for karaoke. Would prefer the Crown for the Karaoke but it was nice place to have a quite pint

HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST AROUND OFFERING LIVE MUSIC ON FRIDAY NIGHTS AND SUNDAY AFTERNOONS. TRADITIONAL HOG ROASTS IN THE SUMMER. EXTREMELY FREINDLY LOCALS
