Enjoyed a good pint of Charlie Wells DNA on Sunday in the lovely beer garden overlooking the canal. Waiting staff were cheerful and friendly, obviously not yet fed up of customers like us choosing distant tables to sit at. Couldn't find crisps though on their app!

Very pleasent garden at the back overlooking the Grand Union Canal.Bombardier was fine but didnt spend much time in the pub.

I never know when I go to this pub whether I can take my dog in or not. The policy seems to change with every landlord/manager.
Agree with the favourable comments about the good beer, though.

I agree with Warren; although I didn't eat, I did try both the real ales, which were well kept. The service was friendly as well, which more than compensates for the A5 traffic thundering past the front door

This is a delightful family run pub and restaurant, situated by the Grand Union canal. The style is very classic with a great fire place and really feels like a good local. The range of beers includes includes Bombadier and Eagle ale. The restaurant serves an excellent range of traditional and al la carte food and is also accompanied by a good selection of wines. well recommended.
