Now Re-opened as Murphy's - an Irish bar. Strangely though, unlike Cassidy's it is actually run by an Irishman!!!!! Stewart has worked damn hard on the place and the pub is actually a pleasant place to go. They are getting a lot of passing shopping centre trade, and a bit more besides. Stewarts rule is, go in, have a drink, if you don't like it then your not forced to go back!!! somehow, i think you may go back though.......

special place in my heart this pub. walked in with the wife, stuck 50p in fruity, won �50.00.

Friendly owners who are willing to please. Beer good and pub clean and comfortable. Well worth a visit.

Newly opened on 2nd February 2006 and refurbished in a modern contemporary style. Under new ownership. Good place to be.

staff drinking behind the bar, chairs that feel like they might topple, a general feeling of dirt. a bit scarey, really.

This place is awful.
Full of locals, it is ridiculously small and has terrible furnishings.
I went in there with a mate once, and ordered a couple of drinks before looking around. When we actually realised how s**t it is, we had to a couple of full pints in front of us so we had to stay!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
