It does cocktails and that's about it. Worth visiting if you're in a group and get there early to make the most of happy hour (5pm-8pm)

One of the worst places I've been in terrible service and atmosphere not great.
|
On a recent Monday evening we sent my friend to the bar to order some cocktails. When he returned it was pretty clear the drinks were not what we had ordered. As we were leaving we mentioned this to the "Manager" and he told us that he "couldn't be bothered" to make the drinks we requested and so had substituted them for something easier to make. He even bragged that he did this all the time and usually got away with it. No apology - and he found it hilarious. It won't happen to us again - as we won't be going back.

A bit too busy for me. Everybody is trying to buy a fancy cocktail and the bar staff take ages to do their "magic" to impress everybody. And it is far too loud.
It is a pity as it has lots of potential but the crowd is a but too snooty. Not my cup of tea at all.

me and my friends came in last night, awesome atmosphere and youre not going to find anywhere else in clapham with a vibe this tasty on a tuesday!!! cant wait for the weekend, always electric down here! All Stars all round!

This place is awesome!! The cheesey tunes pump out and the cocktails come thick and fast. The staff are fantastic, always got time for a handshake, and keen to get the party started. Not a bar for a quiet chin wag late on in the evening, but if you're looking for a fun night, this is the place to go

Awful. I was in here last night and the place was horrendously busy with Clapham stereotypes (posh public schoolboys trying to look cool, "street" and "with it" but failing miserably) and the music far too loud.
I'm quite hard of hearing and had to ask the bar staff to repeat themselves a couple of times. Both members of staff who served me were really rude and unhelpful.
I'm never going in here again - why pay good money to be treated like excrement?

There are not enough of these sorts of bars! You can have a nice ice cold beer then get tucked in to the extensive cocktail list. ANYTHING GOES. Dancing on tables, sing-a-long classics. Dont have to wear your best clothes to get in. And everyone including the staff are there to have a good time. This Legendary bar is a must. DO IT! DO IT!

Carnage on tap - not a place ofr a first date - more the place to get totally thrashed on any given night! Cocktails aren't the best but happy hour is great value!
|
spent a great eve in there this week....there is poss nothing better to start a night out than BOGOF cocktails!! great music and atmosphere but totally agree with past comments about staff - would it kill them to smile?? Will DEFINITELY do another visit soon!!

watch out for the candles! ended up setting my jumper on fire in here.....classic! pretty average for drinks, just a nice, non offensive small bar.

This is a great bar if (a) you think guns 'n' roses are the best band in the world and (b) you enjoy being served by rude barstaff who think they're in a movie. It's full of displaced home counties twentysomethings who REALLY miss Australia and own at least three CDs. The night I went there was not a single black face in the place, which in South London is quite an achievement and speaks for itself. Do people really like bars like this? I'm baffled. AVOID.

This is a really fantastic bar, as other people have said it can get a little busy at times but that just adds to the fun, always a good laugh great on friday and saturday nights but have just started going there on thursdays and sundays and it goes off then as well. Perfect music indie to classic rock and new quality tunes as well. fantastic profesional bartenders, who ever runs this place needs a pat on the back legend ! this bar is a beast, destroys every other bar around .. go see for yourself.

Great place for a party - fun staff, air guitar anthems and a great vibe. So the decor leaves a bit to be desired, but you're not there for the design!
More authentic and fun than the bland bar next door

My favourite bar in London. So much fun at the weekend - fun music and great cocktails. Great in the week too, as its a bit more chilled.

One of the best bars in South London. Great music (Top Gun anyone?!), great cocktails + friendly staff. Downside is that it's very expensive + can take ages to get served on a Friday/Saturday night, but would definitely recommend the experience.

These guys have got the formula right. Rugby shirts are welcome next to cocktail dresses and dreadlocks alike. No dress code, just get in there and get drinking and enjoy the great unpretentious music too.
So much more atmospheric and fun than all the All Bar Pitcher and Lettuces up the road

Great bar. Awesome staff, great music, good crowds. Excellent drinks,2 for 1 cocktails from 7 - 9pm I think it is. Best bar in *hole that is Clapham.

Best bar in this area by far. In fact the only good bar in this area so if you're unfortunate enough to find yourself in the hell that is Clapham, I would suggest you go here as its about the only place where people don't wear rugby shirts. Alternatively if you're someone that wears a rugby shirt then go somewhere else. There's plenty of places round the corner on Northcote Road that will suit you.

I normally go to the Richmond B@1, which I love with a passion! Popped into this one last weekend for a quickie and will be visiting again as soon as I can! The atmosphere in both bars is superb (although Richmond gets very cramped),the cocktails are excellent (never watered down) and the music always has a party feel! The lads and ladettes tend to shy away from these bars (which is always a good thing) so you're left with a 25-35 age group with good looking guys and good looking gals! Thoroughly recommend! Sam
