Roaring Donkey, Swindonback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
The Roaring Donkey looked like an interesting small pub. But, unfortunately it now closes on a Monday. Sadly, no beer in the evening for me here.

Plainly Swindon folk, never review pubs!! Decent enough pub, nowhere near as expensive (relatively) as it was last time I reviewed it. Couple of real ales, good service, nice atmosphere. Good little pub, behind the Adver office. Not easy to find if you're not from Swindon, but probably worth the effort.

Over 9 for two pints of guinness and a Strongbow! Just because you can charge these prices doesn't make it right.

Just changed hands. Not much has changed though, still a great pub on the Old Town circuit. Great jukebox (free last time I was in), decent selection of real ales, good bar staff and a great atmosphere to boot. Always worth a visit.

Love this pub!! Always packed...just something about it. Squashed frog shots a bit pricey at 2.50 tho!!

Sometimes roars a bit loudly, but a good stop on a trip and a fine pint at any time.

Several real ales on. Bit pricey, but still busy every weekend with a good crowd (generally). Good jukebox, good staff, (good looking too). It's always been a good pub and I've seen nothing to change my mind lately.

Much better than it was, almost too busy for us older folk sometimes. Good boozer!

Best pub in Swindon unpretentious, great juke box, backstreet, good beers, just wish my Dad wasn't in here so often. Otherwise top marks.
