On the off chance I called in for a bite to eat with a friend and our kids. I had quite a shock.
In summary no. No, no, no. Well, to be fair, I guess it depends what you're looking for.
Not sure if there's anything positive I can say about. Oh hang on, there is a beer garden.

Fantastic place to chill out on a sunny afternoon. Make your way to the sheltered beer garden at the back and slump into one of the many bean bags. Friendliest staff EVER (all family I think) will make sure you are well looked after. Also good on last friday of everymonth for the Latin Night - boistrous affair with plenty of dancing and curvy ladies!!

A little bit of a hidden gem awaits you in this pub. The garden out the back is brilliant, full of bean bags, low tables and shisha pipes it is like being in a romanticised version of Turkey. Add to this the recent addition of a pub rabbit and you really can't go wrong for a lazy summer afternoon. The pub itself is pretty nice with a good selection of well kept beers, and a great location overlooking Clissold Park. However the real hidden gem of this pub is the staff! Led by the owner (Ayhan) they are excellent and incredibly friendly. This became our base for the world cup and we could not have been better cared for by everyone there. The great table service made it a delight to be in, especially when the tasty food was delivered direct from the Barbeque. They gave one of our friends an exceptional send off a few months back and it has been a real delight spending time there since attempting to show our gratitude.
In Ayhan we Trust!

Fancy a free holiday in Turkey?
Gone are the days when this pub was a bog standard Wetherspoons pub!! The White House has been taken over by a lovely friendly Turkish family who have turned the outside space into a beautiful traditional Turkish garden. It was really sunny the first afternoon I went there and I really felt like I was on my summer holidays!
The garden is a colourful riot of stunning flowers, vast bean bags and low tables with seating for about 50 people. I was a bit worried about the bean bags at first as I have a bad back, but they are really firm and unbelievably comfortable and there are also little wicker seats for those who prefer something firmer!
The charming owner, Ayhan, offered us a choice of traditional Turkish shisha pipe or a herbal variety with no tobacco or nicotine in it. My friend is a smoker so she tried the tobacco version and I went for the healthier herbal version. They were delicious with gorgeous flavours such as coconut, apple and strawberry.
The food was great and the owners told us that at the end of August they are bringing in a more complete traditional Tukish menu with Turkish Mezze and Shish Kebab on bamboo sticks. We are definitely going back to try it!
The drinks are reasonably priced and after our meal we had some Turkish tea which was really nice. They have a huge array of boardgames available so we played backgammon for a couple of hours after lunch!
In addition to the garden the White House has dozens of other brilliant attractions. There is a regular DJ in the evenings, Karaoke (both English and Turkish!) Turkish Belly Dancing, a pool table and at the weekends you can watch football on the widescreen tv.
This really is a little piece of Turkey hidden away in North London!
I told Ayhan I was going to write a review and he has promised that anyone who prints out this review and brings it in to the pub will get one free drink with the first drink they buy. Brilliant!

Beer are always well kept, and the bar staff actually seem to be really interested in the Ales. Plus the food is always presentable. Yea, I know it's the typical Wetherspoon menu, but it's always well cooked. I've been to a number of other places, in some cases far more expensive places, where this hasn't always been the case. Mind you, if you're looking for a quiet night, I'd avoid it when Arsenal are at home.

Popular Wetherspoons near the station with early opening hours. Slightly better than your average Wetherspoons with a younger than usual crowd.

it is a good pub wen jodie stone is in there doing kaaoke

They've done this place up! New management and staff. It's all hardwood floors and tellys everywhere playing sports or music videos. Pool table now. Very loud with all of the wood flooring. They were charging 3 for a Stella but everyone stopped coming, so the price is back down to 2.75. A bright but seedy place.

Nothing special but the staff can be very friendly. The clientle are a strange mix of council estate chavs, old guys and local lads. They frequently have to 'clean house' by banning certain regulars but it's perfectly fine for the casual visitor.

Proper Arsenal pub but not to scary. Opposite Clissold Park so great for a beer in the summer when the tinnies run out.

Decent Pub for The Arsenal , easy walking distance.
