Popped in for lunch, great food, very good value for money. 3 real ales on tap plus a good range of lager. Sat in the sun and enjoyed people watching.

Under new ownership as of Jan 2009. Much better - no idiots, good food and good drink.

Thought I said it all before, but thought I would expand on it. It used to be a really good pub but now Steve is the land lord it has gone down hill faster than a fast thing going down a steep hill. Under age drinking, drug dealing, need I say more...

Not a bad pub. Much easier to get served than in the pub nearby called the Greyhound. It has very friendly bar staff and door staff and does good food which is quite cheap.

Use to be a good pub when Steve and Tracy ran it about 5 years ago, but has now gone down hill and is still slipping ! Cant see this place keeping going for much longer the way it is !!

Since when has Mallards been the busiest pub in Midsomer Norton? When it first opened for about 6 months maybe! Everyone knows not to bother with the place as its always dead!

This is the worst pub I've ever had the displeasure to go in, its more like a barn inside with a few oddly coloured drinks for sale. No carpet, very few tables and no atmosphere. Plenty of under age drug dealing types however. My previous low eb being at the wheeltapper in Rugby (truly dire). Avoid this pub like HIV, infact don't go to midsomer Norton full stop, it has got to be Britain's worst town.
