Forgot to mention on my last visit :
Free jukebox, and waiter/waitress service on Boro match days, and always with a smile.

this pub is brilliant! especially if your a boro fan! they often are the only pub in the whole of stockton to have some of the matches on! with 2 plasma screen tv's, 3 big screen tv's and 3 large tv's you can't fail to get a great view to cheer the boro on! the lager is excellent and theres a huge choice of dirnks! karaoke is on a sunday night and its a great night out!

The pub has nearly every spirit you can think of and its pretty cheap!

altogether this is one of, if not the best pub in stockton!!!

A brilliant place to go if your out in Stockton. As you walk in during a weekend daytime, you are blasted with screens showing several live football matches, i think i counted about 2 plasma screen 3 big screens and a cuple of normal tv's and always a great atmosphere who ever is playing.
Also they sell near enough any lager on draught you could think of. I seriously recommend the budwieser at 2.30 a pint you might think its a bit expensive but every penny is worth every sip.
The staff say there pool team could do with a hand so get ya self down. haha.

Whatever happened to this pub? This used to be one of the few remaining interesting pubs in Stockton, but has now been usurped by the crappy-bar collective.

As you went in, the bar met you straight away, with a kind of corridor all around it with some seating, a games machine, jukebox, etc. To either side of the bar are the main seating areas, and down the right to the back is the room where they used to put on the bands. The bar served a great selection of real ales, and was a cornucopia of different glasses, beer bottles and spirits. The walls of the pub were a mixture of bare brick and green / black windowframes, with pictures of Stockton Town Centre past and present. The food (with huge chunky chips!), was also excellent.

Sadly, reports have it that the bar has now been stripped of its paraphenalia and the interior has been painted mostly white. The real ale pumps may still be there, but there was a distinct lack of anything that could be reasonably referred to as beer. A sad end to another of the great Stockton pubs. If anyone has more info, please post...
