I have never come across a more rude landlord, and rarely met someone so aggressive. He's totally put us off going anywhere near Belstone again.

Handy pub for a ale or two after a long walk on the moors. Belstone is an absolutec gem of a village.

We have been staying in the village this past week and quickly found The Tors to be a welcoming and extremely friendly 'watering hole.' The landlord and landlady, Tony and Ann, are absolutely lovely so are all the staff (including Richard, a rich source of local knowledge). Excellent selection of beers and whiskies and an extensive menu (I'm still full from the mixed grill I had last evening!!) Lovely hotel, delicious food and very charming hosts.

Lovely pub. visited with my mum and her dog recently, and what a location. Brilliant food!

Fantastic pub to recharge after a days slog on Dartmoor. Have to agree with 'Jeff W. Langford' the steak and stilton pie is a winner! Huge selection of single malts and some local beers in addition. NOTE: we were there in the winter and the opening times were variable. Best to phone ahead to avoid a wasted journey. Hope to return this winter.

Can get crowded with diners, but the food and beer has always been good. Lovely setting, sit outside on fine day and drink in the wonderful views as well.
Varied menu that can cater for vegans as well.
Well worth a visit.

Wonderful pub we have been many times in the last six months after walking on the moor. Excellent beer and really good food. Also a very warm welcome. Avoid the cricket nights if you want to get fed quickly!

Accidentally wandered in and liked the pub so much that we arranged our walk the next day to go back for lunch.
Good selection of beer, excellent selection of single malts, excellent food (especially the pies), friendly staff; what more could you want.

Visiting from Canada, friends took us to The Tors last week. Very friendly staff, and great food (I had the steak and stilton pie; wife had the pheasant). I'm still full!

The best pub in Belstone! The only pub in Belstone. Superb views over Dartmoor, a wonderful and extensive collection of fine single malts, great food and the co hub of the village with the Village Hall
