Popped in to see what all the fuss was about after its recent refurbishment. Obviously a lot of money spent and it looks pretty good. However, it's very family-orientated and if you don't have kids I wouldn't recommend it. Also the fact that I was charged an outrageous �3.20 for a pint of fairly weak bitter means we won't be going back. Food was OK, nothing special.

This pub recently re-opened following a lengthy refurbishment. Very clean and modern with lots of parking but unfortunately the prices have increased significantly and the bar food is mediocre. I've not tried the restaurant.

Cheap OAP dinners on Thursdays and the grub is great.

an excellent pub great for families and couples alike, have eaten in bar and restaurant loads of times and no complaints at all,great staff great service all round excellent pub

Very good atmosphere, first class meals in the bar,Excellent restaurant,good choice of beers plus guest beers, good service.
