Now reopened as The Tides Inn, light and airy, two ales on including Timothy Taylors Boltmaker.

Pub is all boarded up.
Another victim in this part of town.
Big boozers like this are dying out.

Used to be great when they had the DBC beer range on the bar but new people have come in and spoilt it. WHy do places always change for the worse???

run by Nigel and Jackie. Good atmosphere on Friday & Saturday nights with regular entertainment. A real good mix of ages and people from all walks of life.... Male / female, black / white, gay / straight / Bi / Trans, young and old etc. etc. Well worth visiting and/or making it a regular.

good atmosphere, friendly people, nice accomandation, good food, good beer, family run pub.
