not my cup of tea, but was fairly steady

Very dirty pub with rubbish bar staff that didnt have a clue. Feels like nobody cares about this pub too much.

I have some good memories from the Crown. Not been there in a while since I don't live in Leighton anymore!

dearest beer in town
usually empty
is there a connection?

Fairly small pokey pub, three quarters empty most of the time. Have been in here & walked out after no barstaff behind bar. Good couple of real ales on tap. Smokers hang around at the entrance and smoke drifts back into the pub, which can be rather annoying.

Good clean beer with a decent selection of draughs, bottles, spirts and ales. Prices are at the higher end of the scale for the bedforshire area, however this is balanced out with good local custom and lack of trouble. Spacious layout, perfect for functions with a 4 sided bar and split level beer garden. One of the very few pubs in Leighton Buzzard that hold a late night licence to 1am friday and saturday. Staff are always polite, pleasent and quick. Overall a perfect place for a quiet weekday pint or starting point for a night out 'down town'.I have to say it is one of the best pubs around Leighton Buzzard who have mastured the traditonal 'pubby feel' without making the place feel to drab and out of date.

Rough pub, rough regulars with spit & sawdust surroundings. Frequented by young, very young in some instances!,locals getting drunk, loud and generally obnoxious. Nothing to recommend it - unless you just want to get very drunk on cheap, tasteless lagers. Stay away!

When I weas in this pub on 5/12/2006 the barmaid was a drop daed gorgeous French girl in skintight lycra! Not the best recommendation for a pub, I know, but a lovely young woman to look at and chat with while you drink excellant beer is never a bad thing!

Pub's ok but the main thing is its run by the lovely nathan so can't be bad!

Potentially a great pub, unfortunately let down by poor drink selection (both lager and bitter, the Guinness is good though!), lack of music and undesirable beer garden area. Staff are nice though.

For many years a burnt out shell, now re-opened as a large single bar family pub with eating area. Draught beers are available but in my experience never drinkable. Can get very noisy and crowded at weekends.
