Not a bad little pub.

Great drinking pub, excellent beers well kept. Friendly landlord and staff. Music can be too loud even when you are one of only a few people in there!
|
Smallish pub near the railway station. Part modernised, with tall stainless steel tables and chairs in one part of the pub, but lower traditional window seats and tables elsewhere. Friendly landlord, but not so sure about some of his customers. Only Greene King beer, but the IPA was nice enough.
|
By Green King standards this pub is above average, however lack of guest beers is regretfull. The Landlord should sleep with a coat hanger in his mouth, so that he may SMILE to his customers.

Small pub with a very welcoming feel. Good beers on tap, nice decor.
Friendly staff and locals, and no trouble. Definately worth a visit.

It's just been done up and looks quite good. It's very handy for a drink just before going to the cinema too. The locals are friendly once you get to know them, their bark is worse than they're bite!
