It's now The Three Daggers, I am reliably informed!

It has now re-opened as The Paulet Arms.

I was in Edington for the final day of the wonderful annual Music Festival, and heard afterwards that although The Lamb was open during Festival week, it was otherwise closed. The person who told me this said that there was a plan by the local community to re-open it/keep it open; if so, I wish them every success. This unassuming but charming village used to have two pubs (The George being the other), a post office, and a fine infants school- all now closed or converted. Raise your glasses to the reincarnation of The Lamb!

they have excellent facilities for kids and a well maintained garden with climbing apparatus and swings, plenty of tables and benches etc, and a full kids menu too!

pity they don't do sandwiches at lunchtime during the music festival week. Just expensive meals!

Friendly local pub with the right balance between a food/drinking/family pub. Good menu with varying fri/sat specials - would strongly recommend the fish dishes.

Village pub with the accent on home cooked food from local produce and well-kept real ales (currently Butcombe Gold, Otter and Ringwood 49er). Book for Sunday roasts as they command a faithfull following, as do food-based events such as the monthly Curry Night, Burns Night, Valentines Day etc.
Small but well-considered wine list.
