A much improved pub now, complete with new thatched roof to give it the picture postcard look. Interior is tastefully refurbished and clean with a good roaring fire for the winter. Given the age of the building, it's perhaps understandable that anyone near 6ft tall will need to ensure they lower their head, but the beams are so low it's pretty obvious! Food is really good and excellent 2 for 8.95 deals available. Beer is in good nick though the range is a little bog standard - Sharps Doom Bar, Morland Old Speckled Hen and Greene King IPA this week. As already mentioned, the staff are really friendly and their commitment cannot be faulted.

The Coach is a really nice place to be now that the new landlord, Andy and land lady, Julz have taken over, with their little dog Alfi. It has a good chilled atmosphere, and good service even during busy times. All the new staff are friendly and chat, and the 2 new chefs roll out some blinding meals. I took my missus in for the 2 meals for 8.95, and I have to say it was one of the best meals we've ever had and thats saying something considering we eat out a lot.........So to let you all know its well worth a visit!!
Well done to Andy & Julz, keep up the good work.

Have been going to this pub regularly for the last 14 years or so, always a friendly pub serving a good pint and decent food. The pub had been much better since the last landlords S&H left. Talking about the staff to customers was not a good image to portray and very unprofessional. Thankfully the new temp manager has restored some professionalism and along side the new assistant manager has started to turn things around again with the pub much busier that it used to be at week-ends and some decent events.
Not sure what Barman6 is on about, sounds like someone with an axe to grind. Rarely see a bad pint, any problems with drinks and they are replaced as in any pub. The beer is not overpriced. Its in line most pubs in Wimborne. Very unfair comments about the staff, which have always been friendly and polite to me over the years.

When will pubs learn? If they see a stranger at the bar, at 11.30 a.m. waiting for a drink, why carry on cleaning the fridge glass, and not look up with a smile? Don't they know the first thing about meet & greet?

One of the few pubs in Wimborne that serves decent beer, and a choice of beers - all well kept. I haven't eaten here so also unable to comment on the food. Staff are always friendly. Good atmosphere. Worth a visit.

Nice pub this one. It tends to be very quiet except on friday and saturday nights when it becomes quite lively (as do all pubs in wimborne). The food is good and the beer is well kept.

Quite busy when I went in on a Saturday afternoon. Had a good pint of Greene King IPA although the service was a bit slow. Didn't try the food so can't comment on that. I had been told that this place had become run down but seemed in a reasonable state of repair to me.
