Have not been to this pub for a few years so was not quite sure what it would be like now. I am pleased to say that it was definitely worth the trip. It can sometimes feel strange going to an unusual pub but this place had welcome written all over it. The staff were very friendly and the selection of drinks up to scratch. The landlady even made sure we were able to get a taxi at the end of the evening (which is not easy on a Saturday night) as it had stared to rain heavy outside. Proper pubs are scarce in Northenden these days but if you want what is probably the best of the bunch I suggest here.
