Very handy for Upwey train station,this pub has little to offer compared to the nearby old ship aand royal standard. Only speckled hen on when visited so opted for a sbow and a fosters which worked out �5.85 for the 2 pints of fizz,served by an extremely chavvy barmaid, 5/10

Why on earth would anyone want to come here? If you're anywhere in the vicinity surely you'd just head up the road to the Standard or Ship?
Unless of course you'd rather sit about watching Sky Sports with a load of drunken dung-eating chavs on 'disability' benefit.

This pub is actually in Littlemoor,Drunken Duck.If you head into Weymouth from the Royal Standard turn left at the lights and it's just the otherside of the railway bridge.(Follow signs for Littlemoor shopping centre).Under new management again,I haven't visited since but much for the better I hear.

Went to Upwey for a week and could not find this pub - found the other three so went there instead

I have to change my opinion on this pub,although the landlady could have made a better effort at first the pub is now clearly ticking along nicely and the service is a lot quicker.Much improved!

This pub has changed it is slowley turning around the land lady has had a struggle as she had never ran a pub or even employed people befor however she is finaly finding her feet and is also very freindly.
there has been a few changes in the pub I.E there is alot less trouble in there now and the atmosphere is alot more freindly the locals in there are also freindly and the food is second to none there is karaoke every friday and its wicked normaly theres ether a disco or a live band on a saturday and normaly a good turn out this pub is once again world class.

Totally agree with Britrose,new landlady seems to have a phobia about serving and bar staff more interested in chatting to mates than serving.Had to wait 20 mins to get a pint,good job it's open till 2am!Has gone down hill rapidly in last few weeks.Also seem to have no more live music.No where else local around here so I suppose they can get away with a bad attitude.

We've had decent good value meals here in the past but last time, a couple of week-ends back, we gave up waiting to be served and left....

Nice pub - It's got darts, bar billiards, Pool, Millionaire and decent tunes!
Well worth a visit if you're ever on a Weymouth to Twickenham pub crawl.
