Alas, another faller. A fine pub with some good beer but not what enough people want these days. +++ CLOSED +++++

In here last Saturday afternoon and dead - only customer (all in the Crown?) Very nice and cosy interior with cussons on seats etc. Only two hand pulls for GK IPA and Sharps Doom Bar which was very nice and cost 3.00 Noel Edmunds was on the TV so didn't stay long (about five mins)

I think Frairbellows is in a different pub !! There has been a dartboard in this pub since the year dot !!!! And still is..........as for it not being popular. Perhaps you should visit weekends.
Still the best pub on the high street in my opinion.

This pub is open until 1am Fridays and Saturdays. Every Wednesday on the second week of the month they have live bands play. Definately a recommended pub for the last drink of the night.
One thing you have to remember is that because it's at the end of the high street, it busy later on than most pubs.
They could do with a website promoting their gig's there though. I know BigStinkyDog Promotions use the White Hart, The Chequers and The Railway for gigs but without going onto myspace, you don't know who's on.

Doesn't seem too popular, judging by the lack of recent reviews on here. Didn't seem too popular at lunchtime today, when there were only four punters in. (The Red Lion across the street was busy.) Looked a clean and tidy pub. The dartboard's gone, though they do have a clock shaped like a dartboard above the bar. I thought about lobbing a set of arrers at it, but tingsten darts are expensive and get getting barred from a pub for a stunt performed in front of an audience of four isn't really worth it.

This place is gettin better !! loving the smoking area and a great band on a while back meant I lost two days off work !!! Far to much alcohol in the beer !!
|
Its now called the New White Hart !!!!! Had a great refurb, and turned into a really comfortable freindly boozer ! Great in the summer as its the only pub on the high street with 3 beer gardens and a play area for the kids !The best quiz on the high street on a thursday and a mad crappyoke night sunday ! By far the best pub in billericay !!!!!!! Well done to Kev (the guvnor) for turning a once crap pub into a gem !

Great staff in the evenings, quiz is brilliant fun on a Thursday, but a bit bright for a drink otherwise

A nice enough pub, if nothing special. Friendly staff and locals, not too expensive, plenty of seats and not too expensive. Fine for a night with a couple of mates and a chat, but if you're looking for anything exciting you'll probably find yourself moving on.
(It's also re-branded itself as Billericay's only 50's and 60's theme pub, but don't hold that against it!)

Nice friendly pub, opposite the library, frequented by the posties from next door.
Reasonable beer, and big telly for the football.
