Went past last Saturday, still sadly closed and boarded up, although it does have a large baner on the side of the building advertising the coming of the 'backpackers and real ale bar'. When? Nobody seems to know.

Latest gen on the Ferry Boat (Or the Fairy boat as it used to be known as many years ago!) is that it is to be converted into a backpackers hostel with a real ale bar attached. The developer must be serious as he has approached the Norwich Branch of CAMRA for advice and is searching for someone to run it for him. Gen was in the Eastern Daily Press.

Now closed. Parasites from Norwich City Council saw to that. A few whinging yuppies from across the river moaning about music from apub that had been there a damn sight lobger than they had. The council will not be happy until there is not one music venue left in Norwich.

The pub is now closed, it will apparently be turned into a restaurant. A shame.

Went here a few weeks ago and there was rubbish strewn everywhere outside - crisp packets, plastic glasses etc. The staff were none too quick to serve. New ownership maybe?

A complete rip-off. 3.75 for a tiny bowl of "potato skins" with a dollop of garlic mayonnaise and half a slice of cucumber. The owner seems to think he's got a michelin star or two - judging by his prices. Someone should tell him he's only running a pub, not one of Gordon Ramsey's restaurants!

Live bands, great food what more could you say! It's an excellent venue for showcasing the local bands and does the music scene of Norwich a big hand!

Music License...Tick. That in itself is worth visiting and old man type interior, shoebox type space...it's fun, and that sentence would not be said in a sarcastic tone. How about it.
