Closed and boarded up and due to be knocked down for the Co-op's new development called NOMA.

Definitely selling real ale now, 2 on one from holts and a guest beer. Last time I spoke to the landlord he said this place was moving nearer to Victoria station as the Co - op are planning to redevelop the land. £3.50 a pint probably a bit expensive for this area.

@ alexw Has it really got cask ales on in here now? Last time I went they only served bottled ales. It is indeed very handy for catching the last train from victoria.

Not a bad pub, 2 cask ales - Holts plus one other. Only a couple of minutes from Victoria Station, but heading away from the city centre.

Surprisingly friendly and welcoming city pub. Crowded on a Friday night but staff helpful and beer was nice and fresh.

Heavily modernised street corner pub close to Manchester Victoria railway station. It has a small TV and a pool table, jukebox, quiz machine and very loud piped music- all the ingredients of a dreary 21st century bar but still with the name of a pub. No real ale of course and little to recommend it.

Popped in here after visiting the winter ales festival at the new century hall (opp),was pretty busy presuming no real ale, 5/10

No real ale, very much a lager joint.

During the last few months, this pub has become my regular weekend haunt. The bar staff are friendly, the entertainment is great & the clientelle are welcoming.
