Now called the Monument. Seems ok but nothing special.

Excellent pub, in there the other night, great beer, great staff, always worth a visit.

This pub is no longer an O'Neills pub, its name has reverted to the Hoghton arms and is being run as family business, it has been refurbished to make it light and airy and offers good food until 18:00, with darts, pool, quiz nights, TV, and guest ales...and the staff are very friendly.

This pub is truly awe-inspiring.
I love it more than most of my things.
My crib, my cars, my clothes, my jewells.
Now, you should love it way more than you hate it.
And no man, I ain't drunk on grapes!
John Curd.

Has it turned back to the Hoghton yet?

just like every other o'neills.

Busy city centre pub, handy for the station. A bit dark inside but pretty laid-back. Could do with some more comfortable seating.
