This pub has been demolished now, and the new building in its place is nearly finished. No pub in it, of course.

Shame it's gone, used to be the place to go. It had gone down hill over the past few years though!

Really sad to see the Goose close down. I had some great nights in here years ago, but since one of the owners passed away the remaining guy didn't seem to have the will or energy to keep the place going. A shame, because the place used to be rammed to the rafters and it wouldn't have taken much effort to keep things up to scratch.

Well, justice has been done. The place has closed down and we're just waiting for the buldozers to come and knock it down.

I used to go there a few years back for a non-gay S&M munch meeting downstairs and the place was blinding. Thought I'd check it out as I'd heard it was starting up again but that the pub was now a real shithole. Damn right! What a total dump! I agree with every comment before mine. Add the fact that parking there is a total nightmare and I certainly won't be bothering to go near the hole again.

It's all true. We used to love it and go there for a late drink downstairs or a friendly pint upstairs, but it's just gone to shit. It won't be open long.

This is a really sad pub and I used to love it to bits. It is not only the ladies loos that are dirty but also the mens. They only ever have one draft on despite there being several other taps and sometimes they have to put ice in the lager as the cellar doesn't chill it effectively. The fridges are not cold either and usually empty, they no longer have anyone serving at the basement bar and they very often have no change and ending up owing you money. It used to be full of local characters but now only the sad remain. If only there was a pub equivalent of Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares this would be an ideal canditate, either that or let Aggie and Kim at it please.

Been there before, about a year ago and it was great - this time a different story altogether, ladies loos were filthy and the bar (if you can call it that, seeing as there were hardly any drinks available!) was dirty , needing a good dust, was quiet and seeing as we were there at 9.30pm, a bit worrying - spoke to the only other person there, a regular, who said it had definately gone down hill! You reckon!!! Even the pool room had 2 bulbs missing over the table and the air con was broken. Shame cos it was once such a nice pub and the first point of drinking in Croydon on the gay scene!

This was the worst pub I have ever visited in my entire life. Should have heeded the warning bells in my head when I arrived to see one set of doors boarded up and we were the only patrons at 8pm on a Friday evening. It was filthy and most importantly there was hardly any drinks available. They had run out of; draft cider, red wine, brandy, tia maria, JD, draft lager and sparkling water. Never seen anything like it. The womens toilets were a cess pit. Shame as this is the biggest (and one of the few) gay pubs in the Sutton/Croydon area.

cool pub go there, good staff, cool managment you will enjoy!

Really chilled 'local' gay pub. Staff are friendly and drinks don't cost you an arm and leg! Good transport links and always someone to chat to.

This is a very friendly gay pub. There is a karoake night every Friday and Saturday there is a big dance floor in the basement. Staffs are ok and many locals that comes in here every week. Located near to West Croydon BR station. A must visit I think to those who are in the area. Nice friendly crowd and cheap drinks too. Open till late on weekends.
