Used to live a stone's throw from this place & I was glad it was there.
The beer is always of a good standard & the bar staff suitably familiar. While it can be quiet on week nights this pub tends to be busy with locals on the weekend & has a good, sometimes lively, atmosphere. The decore, especially in the public end, is a bit out of place but not offensive.
The Thursday night fish & chips is good & the locally aquired steaks are consistently excellent, but otherwise I wouldn't go for the food which it standard pub fare of average quality.

Used to be a great place but changed hands just before Christmas last year and has had an atmosphere bypass. I don't know why, because it's the same building in the same place serving the same beer, but something is just......wrong. We drink in Dullingham these days instead
Perhaps it will pick up in time

This pub is one of the nicest pubs in the area and serves both nice beer and food. Its well worth a look on a saturday afternoon when the good standard of cricket is taking place just across the green!

Excellent friendly family pub, retains old world atmosphere public bar with great bear, Terrific pub grub and posh restaurant. The pub overlooks the village green and is very popular with ramberlers, the village is well known for its love of cricket
