Reopened this week as PREZZO!
|
The builders are in. We shall see the results soon......
|
Closed (at last!). Allegedly reopening as a Pizzeria, probably because there are not enough pizza places in Mill Hill Broadway at the moment!! Amongst those that will sadly miss this place are: 1) the local glaziers who will have far less work to do on Monday mornings effecting repairs to the local shop front windows. 2) the road sweeper who spent a good part of each morning cleaning the fag ends off the street which had been deposited there the previous night by the brainless morons that have infested this place since time immemorial. 3) The brainless morons! Lets hope this place remains as dead as the Norwegian Blue Parrot. R.I.P.

Thanks for the info on the typo topboy. Looking at your spelling I feel deeply honoured! Cheer up get off to decent pub and have yourself a nice pint. :-)
|
prehaps you and mallard should think about opening a pub and if you run it yourselves it would be the best pub in the world making you lots of cash. For your info i hate this pub. Also its manage and not manager these pubs!!!FW

Oh-oh! Xenophobic topboy (thats pronounced zen-uh-foh-bic. I'm only telling you that because I see you are a Three Hammers fan aswell as a fan of this place and therefore your vocabulary is likely to be limited) is on the prowl around the class establishments of Mill Hill winding himself up as he goes it would appear! Will it be the Bridge next for the wandering topboy. The problem isn't with the customers it's with the people that (allegedly) manager these Pubs!

snarling mallard moaning yet again.why drink in mill hill if every where you go you moan about.get with it or shut up

Thought I would follow up my comment about wondering what the food was like by trying it. Answer: Very average.
Still the same pitiful selection on tap, caters mainly to a youngish crowd getting lashed on rubbish booze, and the surliest bar staff I have encountered in a long while.
Definitely won't be going back.

Here's me thinking that the Dutch could at least recognise a good pint of their own beer.... (as for good food - any nation that has those warmed up vending machines as a main source of evening snacks cannot be trusted regarding comments on food)

I've been there two weeks ago, all the way from Holland, and the beer is still good (Amstel), the food is alright, not great though and to dear, and all the evenings I was there, there were 10 people in MAX!! However, when it's raining outside, you don't want to wait for the bus, you don't have a car and your dad lives around the corner, I say go foor a nice pint, because it's probably the best thing you can find in Mill Hill.
|
Has been dreadful for quite a while now and I am afraid remains so! No further comments needed really.
|
Not a great selection of booze and tables overflowing with dirty glasses despite not being busy when we went. Used to use another Marston's pub where I used to live, and that was much better. Food was always good as pub grub goes, so would be intrigued to see what gets served up here.

This is a cock haven staffed by surly Eastern Europeans with a limited grasp of the English language and little experience of working the bar. My pint glass was dropped on the floor behind the bar and the barmaid that served me picked it up and began pouring. No please or thank you, just a short measured pint of San Miguel and an open hand waiting for payment.
There is no sport, but plenty of loud music and even louder shouting from the brainless tits that frequent this cesspit.
Funnily enough Ill not be returning.

Darwin would have had difficulty in classifying the creatures that inhabit this place in the evenings. Unsure as to why there is a need for hefty bouncers as with the average age of the clientelle a couple of lollipop ladies would probably suffice.

not a pub , not a bar , not a cafe , what is this hole , leaving as soon as i finish typing this.
|
It's an 'un-pub'; a youth club.
|
Purely for the kids in the evening but okay to stop off and have a beer (not the food) in the afternoon.
|
CHAVTASTIC
|
OK for a quick pint in the early evening whilst dodging a thunderstorm. Reasonable modern interior, but not exactly a friendly atmosphere.
|
A Tuesday night and not bad when you walk in - the typical brown leather sofas and benches with alcoves and subtle lighting goes down well, but then the group of rowdy local chavsters takes over screeching, singing loudly and giving everyone else in the bar stroppy looks and attitude.. I can imagine it gets worse at weekends, but it was alright for a mid-week drink.

The service at lunch times in this pub is terrible we ordered 4 meals and waited almost the whole of our dinner hour to be served with them. We then had to rush our food which was not what we ordered originally. We were then fed up with complaining and waiting and ate and ran. Wish we had gone too the Bridge and had a packet of crisps or peanuts.
