Oh I forgot to mention, apart from the barman myself and a friend were the only customers, very unfortunate considering the possibilities that should be available for this wonderful building.

This used to be a great place to stop off for a pint or 2, the landlord who ran it in the past has gone and I presume Arkells have put in a temporary manager, when I asked what real ales were available I was given the choice of 2 lagers, there was no cider and limited spirits, my money is on this largish pub/hotel becoming flats before much longer! Avoid!

Staff r friendly. Gr8 menue. Big screen tv. Place 2 b on Friday nites!!!!!

More or less shows any footy match you want, if you ask - which is a far cry from the other pubs in town.

Pub looks a bit like 'The Queen Vic' from Eastenders inside, but nice big screen for sporting events! Friendly locals which is a bit unusual if you're a student!!
