The pub is re-opened as a good old Maddigan's now.
Great atmosphere. NIce food, Live sports (Licenced SKY) on 94" Giant screen, Pool Tables, Fruit machines, Beer Garden... all what you can imagine about Traditional British Pub. Prices are affordable.

It's been demolished but I believe they have retained the facard.

The Vietnamese locals have loved this place for while and I believe it's now owned by a Viet guy. Nice interior and little yard out back so worth a look if you're passing.

great pub, there was a fight there the other night but i suppose thats fairly ok, friendly welcoming bar staff (most of them) nice cool artsy type skater boys/girls, quality pub, one of my locals this, no jukebox but music normally good(i suppose the bar staff pick) but has been poo on occassion, satillite tv, fosters 2.40 a pint(dear)

Good pint of Pride but last time I was there it was off. No indication of why or when it would be back. When I attempted to glean a little more information the landlord looked at me like I'd just has a dump in his wife's handbag. Still, well worth a visit if in need of some Fullers beer in Hackney.
