Now re-opened as Spin but all the negative comments below are still valid. Unbelievably the club has, if anything, got worse. It won't be long before this place goes the way of the Face Bar...

to much of a problem with mango's, drug deals go on under the nose of the management, door security know this and do nothing as their jobs are at risk.

best place in reading for a late beer and a dance.

great place for house music. very safe for a club as the door staff are very selective on entry. best not to arrive appearing under the influence as they are VERY fussy.

Late night drinking, great outside covered smoking area, outside bar/dj, inside bar/dj, upstairs chill out area with plush sofa's, good staff and drinks, great music and a all round fab atmosphere! The sort of place you can walk into on your own not knowing anyone and yet have the best time ever as it seems to attract great people! Probably becasue you have to pay between #5-#20 to get in depending on the night and the drinks arent cheap - this does seem to keep out the trouble makers though which is good!

do like it very much, but the bouncers have literally no trust of manners.
went there with a group of friends, none of us intimidating people at all, and one of my friends has a aquinty eye, they demanded that he was too drunk to come in, and wouldnt allow any of us come in because he said we'd start a fight!
other than that, when you do get in, good music and nice decor. i like

The decor is really fancy, big squashy leather sofas and lovely bar but the prices reflect this and unless you want to take out a 2nd mortgage its not a place to drink regularly.
And the security do have a bad attitude.

Inflated cover charge? Check!
Lack of bar staff when you need them? Check!
With all boxes ticked, this place is guaranteed to annoy a healthy proportion of the people who go. Having said that, if you can ignore the above, then the pumping dancefloor will sure to please those wanting to throw a few shapes out well into the night. Just don't go too early though, the empty space has all the awkwardnees of a high-school disco.

The security have got loads of attitude, like it was some sort of a* place, got in, there was only 3 people in there!!!!!! Rubbish.... But the music was good
