New couple, Dave & Karen, took over in October 2011. Nice friendly couple. The pub has had a major makeover. Food good and reasonable value. Well kept real ales too.

This pub is a victim of town planners: on the main road between Horsham and Crawley, but only easily accessible from the Horsham direction........come from Crawley and you have to go almost into Horsham to the big roundabout and double back, four miles out of the way ! So obviously I haven't put myself out to visit since they got rid of the bar billiards at the turn of the century.

Now a Hall & Woodhouse pub. It's a shame this pubco continues to deprive the Horsham area of local ales and locally sourced produce too.

Hey Skyhii I warned you, not a great pub. Love the Lamb

Went for a sunday roast, I would have expected slightly more than some bernard mathews turkey slices and nasty cold dried up old veg. It was absolutely horrid!!!!!!! We left after a few mouthfuls, and I still feel sick now. Don't waste your time or money. Seriously. Try the Lamb Inn in Lambs Green, real quality food for the same price!!!!!!

Enjoyable pub. A little dark inside, but if you sit by the window on a sunny day or near the fire you'll be right. Food was good and beer was great.

Not impressed by this pub. Beer ok but nothing to write home about. Really annoyed with the menu as it states everything is homecooked which is a total lie. Most of the starters are bought in and our roast was served with catering roast potatoes along with frozen veg and yorkshire. Sorry but that's not homemade

Oh what a lovely pub! Popped in on the way down to the Horsham Beer Festival. Friendly place, Hall & Woodhouse ale, food excellent value for money, all in all worth a visit anytime. Certainly made a good prelude to the Beer Fest!

Stumbled across this pub by accident on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. Excellent food, massive portions. Maybe slightly too big. The Badger ales were all in excellent condition. This is the type of country pub that is far too rare these days. Well worth a Sunday drive for.

We have been lunching here for a couple of years now ... really good food and friendly. Our DOG is made welcome too.

Nice olde worlde type pub, good food and beer although a bit noisy due to the adjacent dual carriageway

17th century country inn with excellent choice or real ales and great food. Freshly prepared 'specials' menu each day. Log fires in winter, large, sunny beer garden in summer, friendly relaxed atmosphere.
