I can only assume that the people who have put down positive comments for this place are the sort of people who think a good Saturday night out in London involves going out to over-priced and tacky bars around Leicester Square. If you're aged over 20 and don't like bars full of screehing American college kids then you will not like the Drunken Ship. I had the misfortune to visit last week and can report that it was by far and away the worst bar in Rome.

Didnt realise how strong the beer was. Thought the bar was longer but it was a mirror on the back wall. Met M.... in there.What a girl.True Italian. Cant wait to return.

Just got back form the Scotland v Italy Rugby game. What a fantastic weekend, mainly because of this pub. The atmosphere was electric and the bar staff were amazing (particulary Sarah the very tidy Irish bar maid). Yeah Sarah and her freinds put up with all our drunken shananigans. Top Bar! Bye the way I was the guy with the Gladiator Helmet and Saltire mask.

I bought a shirt there!!! It says "Show us your tips" on the back of it. God I miss Rome! I would go back in an instant!

This bar was the best ever. Not only was the staff very good but they were funny and friendly. It felt like I was hanging out with a bunch of friends. Dancing in the back of the bar was by far one of the funnest times I've ever had. If you don't go to this bar you will regret it!

This pub was awesome, I still haqve a shirt I won on the pub crawl 2 years ago that says "Bite Me" on the back. A bunch of fun people and plenty of good times.

This is the best bar in Rome! Maybe dirty and crowded sometimes, but it gets that way because it is so much fun. And, oh yeah, they've got the best staff of any bar ever...even better than Coyote Ugly :)
