Awful chain pub, sandwiched between KFC and Superdrug Has been closed since Autumn 2005. As an answer to our prayers I get the impression it's not going to reopen as a S&L

Absolutely appalling.

What have they done to The Wellinton? Ok it was smelly, but it had character and some great bands played there. (Oh dear, just identified myself as an aging hippy)

Completely indistinguishable from the nearby Edwards, so I'm just going to paste the same comment:
Nonsense place that sums up the general quality of pubs in the Bush. Bland, characterless and utterly pointless. I fail to understand why anyone would choose to drink here.

Complete hell hole. Over priced. Full of pissed up BBC idiots. Avoid at all costs. You'd have more fun in the park opposite with a can of Tennants super.

Desperate. Do you need a pub that much? Used to be the Wellington which was noisy but ok.

An average Slug and Lettuce outlet, made in a big factory with all the other identical Slug and Lettuce pubs. I'm not a fan of these soulless ciabatta infested stink holes as a rule, but if you want somewhere to wait for a 237 bus with a chilled beer and an IKEA sofa without being hassled by the glue sniffers, winos and beggars that call Shepherd's Bush home, then this is one of the better places. Well, better than the urine soaked doorway next to it. Run of the mill but not without charm.
