Pub at the end of the shopping area.traditional boozer, mostly locals in.2 beers on,galeshsb and yates undercliff, tried the undercliff which was ok.good to see a.pub with a jukebox, with some classics blearing out.also has pool table, seems friendly enough.

Had a pint of HSB, which wasn't brilliant, but was cheap compared to my local in Harrow. Seems to be a local's pub, and was pretty empty on a sunny August afternoon.

Basic and decent no frills pub near the town centre that did a good pint of Eagle(? in the Falcon) IPA at a very agreeable 2.50 a pint. Despite being on holiday and apart from our first visit of the week when we went back the landlord remembered what we were drinking. That is something that always gets a few plus points as far as I'm concerned.

Decent pub in Shanklin, mainly a locals pub but OK for tourists too.
One open plan drinking area served by a single bar, can't remember the selection of real ale on offer but pint I had was good.
Busy for early evening that we were in.

Average street corner town centre local. The Goddards Fuggle de Dum was a bit cloying but the HSB was okay. Has a pool table to the rear.

Crap photo.

Go there when I visit a friend. Always felt welcome eventhough I'm no local. Seen the occasional arsehole, but you get at least one in every pub, drunk or sober.
|
Basic local's pub with beer from Fullers(so expensive). Had a nice pint of HSB.
|
Three ales, SN Spitfire, Fullers London Pride and (Gales) HSB. The quality varied quite a bit on separate visits. Interesting mixture of clientele.
|
About the only pub in Shanklin that is a pub and not a sports bar or restaurant.
|
Acceptable Tanglefoot on pretty boring pub. Reasonable pool table.

Was staying in shanklin over xmas and must say the flacon was the best & most lively pub i shanklin even though a fight kicked off as i walked in (must have been my aftershave) had a laugh, met some nice people and even eat some lamb from a womans bag!
|
this is the best pub in shanklin and the bar staff (me and the ginger one)are the the dogs lickie bits! guaranted service with a smile!
|
The Falcon or "Falc's" as it is known by its affectionate name by the locals is a great pub to go to for a chat and a session. Lee "THE TRUCKER" Crane the cheeky little (phsically large) bar keep is always there to tell you crap jokes you heard ten years ago. i would recommend a visit to anyone who is out for a booze up and a good laugh.
|
Easily the best pub in Shanklin Great atmosphere and good barstaff "ASK FOR TRUCKER"
