Noisy, rough, expensive, no real ale. One visit was enough.

bottles of deuchars in fridge this year.

Typical bar on the pier,no real ale.plenty of screens for sport.
|
still no real ale.so fosters in here for me,the old girl is still there and great..more of a sports bar.

A very basic bar on the pier. The decor and the seating was functional but the drinks were very cheap. No real ale but that was expected for this type of bar. Only worth a quick visit.

Yeah, it could do with a makeover. And yeah, it would be good to have real ale.
But given the logistical restrictions this bar has to deal with (it's in an amusement arcade!), the staff do a great job! Will be back in Sandown shortly and will say "Hello" again!
Then I'm off to The Castle!

went in this place a few times,no real ale, which is a shame, drank fosters.the old girl behind the bar is fantastic.

Called in to Scruffy Jacks in February to find lovely friendly bar staff and a great view of the bay. Also one of the cheapest pubs we visited on the island. Not much choice of ales and the decor was a bit dated, but its certainly a place I'd go back to all the same.

Always worth a visit, brilliant staff and a great view of the beach etc. You can even order food from the cafe opposite and they serve it to you at your table in the bar. The whole Pier is great value for money and the pub is the icing on the cake :)
