This a wonderful place, the food is excellent and portions huge. The beer is also on top form, with several ales to choose from. The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly, and the interior traditional and impressive. A top pub.

The Cock is a great starting point for a village full of watering holes!!!
Bollington has 17. And yes it is a village. The Cock has a good mix of client, from your family with children to your standard drinker. But you do fancy a good day out on the drink bollington is the place for you.

Close enough to major roads into Stockport, Macclesfield, Poynton, Whayley Bridge, Pott shrigley, Manchester, Wilmslow, Prestbury and Tytherington.
Yet set in lovely countryside.
A great play area to the rear for children. Best visited in the summer.

Following a refurbishment in 2001 the pub is even better than it used to be.
A lovely village too.

The best thing about this pub is the locayion. A great little village, surronded by beautiful countryside. Inside the pub service is good and the locals are real true characters. Very pleasing experience.
