How times change. Bar Coast was once the busiest, most exciting and even glamourous venue in Putney. It was the epitomy of the pre-club bar of the late 90's. Its fall from grace was rapid and severe, and its alpha-bar status amongst Putney and Roehampton's younger, trendier drinkers has been taken by the Jolly Gardners.
Bar Coast is not missed by anybody. It's a Waggamamas now. Cool.

Yea this place has been a bit of a dive in recent months but its now under new Managment. They have found where the cleaning supplies are and the new staff acknowledge your exsistence and actually talk to you. The food is well cheap (new menu apparently.....) and aint crap either, best drinks offers on Putney High Street (they do some mean shooters too - 4 for 5, two bottles of stella for 2.90). Vandalsim and graffiti is still a problem in the toilets but its the same everywhere in Putney, why is that? Recently I've had some cracking nights in there, I know I can go down and get smashed on the cheap and it aint going to be filled with riff raff. Hope it stays that way.

This pub takes the hole part of the term watering hole to heart. The toilets absolutely stink. The food is dire and the entire bar staff seem interested in is chatting to their mates. I would think a big chain would buy out the license and the premises soon enoughwhich isnt necessarily a cause for celebration.

decor could do with a facelift, and the toilets have graffiti and are a mess, but nice and big - long bar and nice views. lots of girls.

Really good food and music. Also the fittest bar maids you'll ever find in London.

Bouncers were very friendly and helpful, which makes a nice change.

Usually fairly terrible, full of slappers (which is ok) but usually full of geezers too. Bit of a pain, as it is small and generally only useful as a last port of call as it is open later than most.
