A new miserable experience. Went in for a drink on Sunday afternoon. Not one other person in there. Disneyfilms on the tele and the whole place was dark and gloomy even though it had just been renovated. No real ales. I'm guessing it only survives as it has the hostel guests next door drinking in there.

A sticky hole of a place with little atmosphere but friendly staff. You can take glasses outside to the broken tables next to the canal. Often becomes a sweaty den in term time when a resident DJ plays rubbish music really loudly.

This is an okay pub. Bar staff are friendly, tends to be a bit on the empty side. A nice place to go if you fancy a quiet one!

A great venue, if a little Ikea. Very cheap if you don't mind drinking flat bottles of Carlsberg. Home to 'The Relay', a live music club, on Monday nights. Used to have really nice staff but they've all pissed off now.

This is a GREAT pub! admittedly its mostly students in there as its right next door to a university but even so it is well cool.
As far as i know its open till 2am every night, cool people working there (antipodean), hot manager (english), dj's, the food is ok too.
