Awful tapas if you've ever had tapas in Spain. Slow service. Expensive red wine is poor and odd varieties of strong lager served in smaller than half pint measures. Good coffee and attractive decor in the bar is this place's saving grace.

Surprised to see this on beerintheevening as it is in fact a restaurant but never the less it certainly deserves a good comment! Fantastic little place! I do have a soft spot for tapas so I may be a little bias but the atmosphere is very nice and the staffs are always very polite and helpful! I tend to over order but never the less my bill is always very reasonable! Would certainly recommend and I guarantee you will see me in there on a regular basis! Perfect for couple and large groups alike!

Can somebody remove this place from the website - it's a restaurant.
very good. We don't go here just for a drink although there is a bar area. Food is usually excellent, service is very friendly but a little slow...not the place for a rushed meal but then the atmosphere is nice , surroundings good so no problem there! Price is good for the menu and quality also.

Good Atmosphere. Really enjoyed the Tapas.
nice little place for a spot of lunch
Not a pub but a restaurent with a bar area. Can be noisy.
Not a place for go just to drink - shouldn't be included on a website that is named "BEER in the evening". It's a restaurant.
Yes, ok its not a pub but sitting at the bar having a few beers in pleasant surroundings makes a nice change from some of the less desirable establishments around. No drunks or weirdos, can't be bad.
Thats true you do get some gay men in there as well
Totally agree with the last comment. Whats wrong with single women and their friends going to a decent place that isnt full off beer swigging lager louts! Estilo's and Red Peppers are owned by the same people both do lovely but different food. New face lift looks good and makes it more spacious inside. Recommended for a good night out for all members of the human race (not just the girls).

Why has this place had such a hard time... there absolutly nothing wrong with it.. and yes.. if you want a bar.. then go to one... this is a restaurant - with a charming and small drinking area in it!!
The staff and food are both well above standard.
I'm glad no-one likes it. I do - great for whiling away a weekend afternoon in the window people watching with good company. More chance I'll get a window table if no-one else goes.

Rich mans mcdonalds! If your looking for a bar - look harder. If your looking for grub - go to Red Peppers!
lol,
Actually, it's a R E S T A U R A N T !
a mere typographical inexactitude.

A place were 45 year old single women go with their friends to feel like they are in an episode of Sex In The City. Oh and its a RESTRAUNT
True, it's not a bar or a pub.
It would be even hard to call it a restaraunt...
'Meat Balls in Tomato Sauce' translates as 'Manky rolled-up mince in Heinz Tomato Soup'.
I was left feeling somewhat fleeced and traumatised.

More of a restaurant than a bar or pub. Decentish food, but not a place i would go to drink.
If this is a pub, I am an armadillo.
Poncey joint, that wouldn't know a pint if it slapped them in the chops.
cocktails not too bad, but not cheap what with it being a restaurant with a bar area.

Went in there once and asked for a pint of Stella. They replied that they only serve halves.... never went back.
