Great little pub in a really great town. Love the sign above the bar" No card payments accepted,Cash only."As it should be. Nice pint of Tetley's too.

A three room, cosy pub with a fairly predictable selection of ales, we took the opportunity to watch Preston v Blackburn on the box and it proved to be a good choice of venue. - but save your units for the Cheshire Cheese across the road.

Average kind of pub with okay ale - would have thought more of it if it hadn't been inhabited by some knobhead obsessed with Eric Cantona. I suppose every pub has it's dickhead.

A pub full of history, it's comprises of 3 rooms, a tartan room, a tap room and a lounge. You will recieve a warm welcome with a friendly atmosphere. There is entertainment on some weekends. good range of beers (both keg ang traditional). There is no pool or jukebox so the ideal place to go for a relaxing night out with friends
